About Plugin Brands
Plugin Brands is one of the fastest-growing, award-winning sales and account management agencies in UK FMCG, specialising in Foodservice. We focus on integrating healthy and sustainable FMCG brands across hotels, pub groups, QSRs, gyms, universities, and more. Our portfolio has seen 500% year-on-year growth two years running.
We’re expanding further and are looking to add to our best-in-class sales team—now, we’re hiring a National Account Manager.
The Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Foodservice strategy, managing relationships at both wholesaler and end-user levels to drive distribution, listings, and sales growth across the channel.
- Primary focus: Bidfood and Brakes, with strong experience in other national and regional wholesalers.
- Location: Hybrid (4 days in our London office, WFH Fridays), with travel required to visit customers when necessary.
- Goals: Turn our portfolio of premium health & sustainability-focused brands into high-growth national accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute distribution, listing, and activation strategies across national Foodservice accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term, high-performing relationships with key decision-makers at both wholesaler and end-user levels.
- Manage whole-portfolio reporting rather than singular SKUs—you’ll influence an entire brand’s success.
- Contribute to channel profitability (P&L) planning and optimisation.
- Drive actual growth by aligning brands tactically at scale.
- Ensure brands remain visible, measurable, and revenue-generating, from initial listing to long-term sell-through.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
