National Account Manager - Grocery (Branded Food)
Location: London (Hybrid, 2–3 days office)
Salary: c.£60k + 10% bonus + car or £6k allowance + benefits

The Role
- Newly created Grocery NAM role with full ownership of Tesco & Sainsbury’s
- P&L responsibility (£10m+) across a portfolio of branded, high-growth products
- Lead JBPs, promotions, forecasting, and commercial negotiations to drive profitable growth
- Identify and unlock distribution, rate of sale, and category growth opportunities
- Work cross-functionally (Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, Finance) to launch and scale brands in market

Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, insight-led relationships with buyers and key stakeholders
- Deliver account plans aligned to brand and category strategy
- Use data and shopper insight to influence decisions and drive performance
- Manage the full sales cycle including pricing, terms, and contract execution
- Drive accurate forecasting and ensure best-in-class account management standards
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience managing major UK grocery accounts within branded FMCG
- Established NAM or high-performing Account Manager ready to step up
- Strong commercial acumen across pricing, promotions, and trade investment
- Analytical, data-driven, and confident presenting compelling customer narratives
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong collaborator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
