Overview

Responsibilities
As Senior Trade Marketing Manager (Onestop), your role will include:

Strategic Execution:
- Build, align, and execute customer and category plans to drive distribution, store space, and sales rates of sale.
- Lead development of insight-driven trade and promotional plans, ensuring SKU prioritisation and adherence to commercial guardrails.
- Translate shopper, category, and performance insights into actionable plans to optimise in-store execution and conversion.

Account & Stakeholder Management:
- Own day-to-day account management with key Onestop stakeholders, including Buying, Trade Planning, Supply Chain, and Store Operations.
- Foster strong working relationships to ensure seamless collaboration.

Performance & Compliance:
- Deliver best-in-class execution under the "Perfect Store" agenda, focusing on availability, visibility, and secondary space activation.
- Improve forecasting accuracy and in-year performance, identifying risks and opportunities to meet volume and financial targets.

Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work collaboratively with Category, Supply Chain, Retail Growth Management (RGM), and Marketing to align plans.
- Develop broader Onestop account strategy, including contributions to Account Operating Plans (AOP), range reviews, and long-term customer planning.

- Continuous Improvement:
- Refine strategies based on performance learning and market dynamics.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in FMCG or organised trade with a track record of meeting sales, market share, and financial targets.
- Ability to analyze data sets (sales, distribution, promotional performance) and communicate actionable insights.
- Strong financial acumen, including:
- Forecasting
- P&L ownership
- Performance tracking
- Skilled at influencing stakeholders (e.g., Buyers, multi-level teams) and building cross-functional partnerships (Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, RGM).
- Demonstrated personal accountability, proactive mindset, and results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication skills—able to simplify complex strategies and deliver clear recommendations.
- Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, dynamic commercial environment and adapting to change.
Desirable:
- Experience with Tesco Group, UK Grocery (e.g., Sainsbury’s, Asda), or Convenience chains.
- Insight into customer ways of working in large retail environments.
