National Account Manager - HB Clark

Job Title: National Account Manager – HB Clark

Location: Field Based – weekly regional travel is expected in this role

Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As the Dynamic, Multi-Beverage Powerhouse, we are united by a single, consistent goal: ensuring our people thrive.

About the role:

We are now recruiting for National Account Manager – HB Clark who will lead HB Clark to deliver against our RTM commercial budget (Volume, Net Revenue, GPaL). Gaining new business and retaining current business with key focus in growing a wide portfolio of brands across soft drinks and beer.

Role Responsibilities:

Own and deliver budget performance aligned to Carlsberg Britvic’s growth ambitions Develop and execute joint business plans, adapting swiftly to market conditions Manage cross-functional collaboration to improve commercial outcomes for both customer and business Define and deploy the growth strategy across HB Clark depots Build close regional connectivity between HB Clark and internal sales teams to expand soft drinks and beer distribution Stay close to the trade through regular depot visits, customer engagement and event support Deliver commercial strategies that regularly satisfy targets and advance performance Own accurate forecasting and S&OP alignment across demand and supply Consistently manage risk, track performance vs plan and reset priorities where needed Build an inclusive, productive culture where colleagues are empowered, heard, and supported to thrive

Experience and Key Attributes:

UK Driving licence – regional travel is required Demonstrated consistent performance over some years in FMCG manufacturer and/or retailer Experience of developing effective relationships across functions to enable customer plans that deliver results Good understanding of financial concepts across relevant channels Ability to build mutually beneficial account plans translating these into actions and tactics Collaboration with peers to build a robust and reliable Sales & Operational Plan (S&OP) Understanding of all significant processes that underpin from planning through to invoice receipt Obsession about growing brands and channels, providing high service levels to customers High levels of accountability for plans, action, delivery and outcome
