National Account Manager | Iconic Food Brand | London / Hybrid
Harmonic are proud to be working with an iconic food brand with a strong presence across UK and international retail markets and a track record of building genuine consumer love in competitive grocery categories. After several years of consistent UK growth, the business has reached a point where the commercial team needs to scale, this hire is central to that next phase.
Reporting to the UK Head of Sales, this is a hands-on national account management role with ownership of a major UK grocery retailer, think Top 4 (Tesco, Sainsbury etc) alongside a smaller, higher-growth account where you will also lead on new business development. You will build and execute joint business plans, own the P&L for your accounts, and work closely with the distributor network and internal teams to deliver against commercial targets. The role suits someone who is equally comfortable managing complex retailer relationships and rolling their sleeves up on more entrepreneurial, sales-led activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
