Company Description
Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a National Account Manager - Independent Wholesale to be based in the UK.
The National Account Manager is responsible for achievement of volume, profit and net revenue targets, interacting closely with the wider Red Bull business including Field Sales, National Account teams, Logistics, Finance and Brand & Marketing teams. You will be responsible for a large P&L in the 2nd biggest Business Unit at Red Bull. The strategic direction of the Company is to be followed with emphasis on the key pillars within the Impulse Channel.
This role is specifically focused on the delivery of the Independent Wholesale strategy and central to the development and creation of joint business plans to deliver profitable volume growth and increase our share across Unitas members and retailers. The NAM will work closely with Field teams, both internally and externally, to drive distribution and deliver first class execution of Red Bull plans within Independent Wholesale.

- Deliver growth targets that are driven by business plans that are aligned and relevant to your customers and Red Bull priorities.
- Evaluate account performance and apply key learnings to future activity and planning.

Forecasting and development
- Forecast, track and evaluate account performance to support informed, accurate and timely commercial decision-making.
- Ensure accurate forecasts of volume, profit and point of sale material.
Customer Contact Strategy
- Proactively manage customer contact strategy to remove obstacles to progress.
- Timely meetings with contacts to ensure development of overall business plan.
- Instigate and follow up top to top meetings with selected customers.
Red Bull Contact Strategy
- Build and maintain internal contact strategy to help meet overall account KPIs, to include field sales, category, logistics, finance, brand, consumer & sports.
Category Expertise
- Develop expert knowledge of category, consumer and customer insights to identify opportunities and influence business decisions.
- Make commercial decisions based on insight both sought and made available.
- Work closely with internal category contact.

People Management
- Management of one direct report.
Brand Advocate
- To be a brand advocate to your customers, the trade and Red Bull and mirror the brand values in order to deliver enhanced brand perception at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven account management & P&L Accountability.
- Experience managing and developing direct reports, with a demonstrated track record of coaching and performance improvement.
- Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills.
- Experience of high-level negotiation.
- Evidence of writing and delivering a Joint Business Plan.
- Self-starter with a focus on results and customers.
- Proven track record of achievement.
