National Account Manager - J-B Weld UK
Company Overview
JRP Distribution Ltd is a leading distributor of branded products into the automotive and DIY markets in the UK. Since becoming the proud distributor of J-B Weld in 2018, we've achieved strong growth across the automotive sector. To accelerate market expansion — particularly in the high-potential DIY and retail segments — we are now seeking an ambitious National Account Manager to lead J-B Weld’s next stage of UK growth.
J-B Weld is one of the world’s most trusted manufacturers of adhesives, sealants, and repair compounds. Known for its “World’s Strongest Bond,” the brand is synonymous with durability and innovation. The opportunity now is to translate that global strength into commercial dominance in the UK market.

The successful candidate will:
- Take ownership of sales performance across both automotive and DIY sectors
- Lead the charge on new customer acquisition and retail penetration
- Drive high-impact brand awareness only where it supports measurable sales outcomes
This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded sales leader who thrives on delivering results, building relationships, and scaling brands through channel excellence and tactical execution.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage key account relationships to drive sell-in and sell-through performance
- Build joint business plans with retailers and trade partners to increase market presence and revenue
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales and profit targets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
