National Account Manager – Food Manufacturing

Remote (UK) | £50,000 Basic + Company Car/Car Allowance + Bonus

Are you an ambitious National Account Manager with experience in foodservice or retail? Looking for the opportunity to join a growing UK snack manufacturer where you'll have real autonomy and the chance to make a genuine commercial impact?

Our client is a thriving SME food manufacturer, producing an exciting range of market-leading snack products supplied across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to recruit a National Account Manager to drive sales, develop strategic customer partnerships, and help shape the next stage of the company's success.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of national accounts while identifying new business opportunities across the foodservice or retail sectors. This is a fully remote position, with occasional travel to the South of England for customer meetings, site visits, and internal business meetings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
