National Account Manager - North Europe (W/M)
Job Description
Sales & Revenue Management
- Deliver sales in accordance with revenue budgets and forecasts for assigned customer portfolio
- Prospect new customers in line with Oterra strategy to expand portfolio and increase market share
- Drive customers' product portfolio with focus on innovation, sustainability and profitability
- Monitor customer sales trends and implement corrective actions as required
- Forecast customer needs and collaborate with Operations to manage supply appropriately
Account Management
- Maintain and develop business with existing customers whilst converting opportunities with new prospects
- Map individual customers within portfolio (sites, production, people, opportunities) and build multi-level contacts
- Plan and execute customer activities including visits, trials, seminars and innovation days
- Maintain customer accounts in Salesforce, logging all activities and meeting recaps
- Support customer complaints and resolve routine issues; inform management of significant developments
- Develop and maintain relevant industry networks on a local basis
- Discuss and obtain sign-off on pricing strategies with relevant Manager

Business Planning & Market Intelligence
- Develop customer plans for main accounts in collaboration with Manager and broader Oterra strategy
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape and product trends; screen for new opportunities
- Proactively identify and communicate market and customer insights to colleagues and management
Reporting & Team Collaboration
- Provide timely reports and forecasts to management; review progress monthly with Manager
- Monitor account receivables for own customer portfolio in alignment with the accounts receivable team
- Demonstrate positive conduct and effort as a key sales team member; share learnings proactively
- Conduct business activities in accordance with Oterra policies and applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical career
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in food or beverage ingredients
- A knowledge of selling colours and/or applications experience would be extremely advantageous.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate activities at a cross regional and/or global level within Oterra;
- Ability to drive the sales process;
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs a must;
- Fluency in Salesforce advantageous;
- The ability to manage complex issues and work in cross-functional teams;
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach;
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Compensation
GBP 65000 - GBP 69000 - yearly
