Join a well-established, multi-site FMCG food business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer partnership. Alongside a successful retail division, the business is now investing in the future growth of its Contract Manufacturing operation, creating this newly established role to strengthen its commercial capability and unlock new opportunities across the food manufacturing sector.

National Account Manager

Contract Manufacturing – Food
South West 3 days + 2 days WFH
c£50,000 + Bonus

The Role

You'll play a key role in growing the Contract Manufacturing division through a blend of account management and new business development. You'll be responsible for developing long-term partnerships with branded and own-label food manufacturers, identifying new opportunities, and delivering sustainable commercial growth.

Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, NPD, Technical, Operations, and Supply Chain, you'll gain a deep understanding of the business's manufacturing capabilities and identify opportunities across multiple product categories. This is a varied, customer-focused role offering genuine autonomy and the opportunity to help shape the future direction of a growing business unit.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious and experienced Commercial NAE ready to step into their first NAM role, or an existing National Account Manager looking to join a growing business where they can make a genuine impact and accelerate their career.

Requirements

  • Experience within a commercial role in an FMCG environment.
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset with a genuine hunger to develop new business.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial acumen with the confidence to negotiate and identify growth opportunities.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively across multiple internal functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Must be comfortable with working in the South West region 3 days per week, and 2 days working from home.
