National Account Manager – Enterprise, Commercial & Light Industrial

About the Role

The National Account Manager (NAM) plays a critical role within the Enterprise, Commercial & Light Industrial (ECLI) team, responsible for managing high-priority accounts within the enterprise market vertical. The role covers the full portfolio of Vertiv products, including LV Switchgear & Busbar, ACP UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), ELS (Emergency Luminaires Systems), and Thermal Management, ensuring growth through strategic engagement with end-users, consultants, and contractors.

As part of a highly skilled sales team—comprised of account management and technical sales professionals—you will hold full portfolio responsibility for your assigned territory, backed by immediate team support and specialised application engineers. Your technical proficiency will evolve into a ‘generalist’ expert capable of identifying opportunities and driving technical selections, with application engineering teams supporting deeper product knowledge.

This role demands:

  • Strong key account management skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to build and maintain relationships—both internally (across Vertiv departments) and externally.
  • Ambition, competence, and energy to align with market growth targets and maximise share of wallet within assigned accounts.
  • Relentless drive to meet revenue goals, focusing on orders, sales, GM, and EBITDA, while adhering to Vertiv’s ethics and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship & Retention

✔ Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and a best-in-class experience. ✔ Map and engage stakeholders across allocated accounts, tailoring content and solutions to meet their needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
