📍 National / Field-Based (UK)
Screwfix now operate 1,000+ stores across the UK, Ireland and France and have opened around one store per week for over a decade. But their growth is far from finished, with continued expansion plans and evolving formats - such as their Screwfix City format.
W Talent Property & Real Estate are partnering with them to appoint a high-impact Acquisitions & New Formats leader, tasked with shaping their future estate and the team delivering it.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Property & Development, you'll lead the national acquisitions strategy and take full responsibility for managing and developing a high-performing acquisitions team.

You'll ensure a strong pipeline across traditional and new formats, while creating a culture that balances pace, commercial rigour and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the acquisitions and new formats strategy
- Manage and develop a high-performing team
- Drive a robust national pipeline of site opportunities
- Oversee leasehold deals from negotiation to completion
- Deliver clear investment cases and recommendations
- Ensure strong governance, prioritisation and execution
- Build relationships with agents, landlords and developers
About You
- Proven experience in retail property acquisitions / multi-site expansion
- Strong track record of leading and developing teams
- Excellent commercial judgement and deal-making experience
- Experience managing fast-paced, multi-site pipelines
- Strong market network and ability to influence at senior level
- Exposure to new formats / innovative expansion

This is a National / Field based role, leading a team based across the UK. Candidates can therefore be based anywhere in the UK, but travel to Screwfix Head Office in Yeovil on a weekly basis will be required.
