About the Role

As our National Road Logistics Tender, Pricing & Implementation Manager, you will play a critical role in securing new business opportunities and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic customer solutions.
Working closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Solutions, and international stakeholders, you will lead the development and execution of tender, pricing, and implementation strategies for strategic opportunities. You will be responsible not only for creating commercially competitive and operationally viable solutions but also for ensuring their successful transition from concept to operational delivery. This role is ideal for a commercially minded logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys transforming customer requirements into winning logistics solutions that deliver measurable business results.
How you create impact
- Lead the end-to-end tender management process for Road Logistics opportunities, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions.
- Develop and execute competitive pricing strategies that balance customer requirements, operational feasibility, market conditions, and profitability objectives.
- Own the strategic design, implementation planning, and execution of new customer solutions, ensuring successful operational onboarding and delivery.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Solutions, Procurement, and international stakeholders to develop and implement tailored logistics solutions.
- Analyse customer requirements, market trends, competitor activity, and cost structures to create compelling commercial proposals and business growth strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in tender processes, pricing methodologies, implementation frameworks, and bid management practices.
- Develop implementation roadmaps and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer transitions and operational readiness.
- Support strategic growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand service offerings, enhance customer value propositions, and improve commercial performance.
- Manage tender pipelines, implementation projects, priorities, and timelines to ensure successful delivery across multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Monitor post-implementation performance, ensuring customer commitments, financial targets, and operational KPIs are achieved.

What we would like you to bring
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Road Logistics, including experience in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in tender management, pricing, implementation, business development, or commercial roles within transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- Demonstrated success in developing winning commercial proposals and leading the implementation of complex customer solutions.
- Experience creating and executing commercial, pricing, and operational strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, model pricing scenarios, assess implementation risks, and make commercially sound recommendations.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tenders, implementation projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong presentation skills, with experience creating customer-facing proposals, business cases, and implementation plans.
