About the Role
At Kuehne+Nagel, we deliver innovative, customer-focused Road Logistics solutions that drive growth and operational excellence. As our National Road Logistics Tender & Pricing Manager, you'll secure new business opportunities while supporting the broader success of the Road Logistics division.
Collaborating with Sales, Operations, Customer Solutions, and international teams, you'll lead the tender and pricing process for strategic projects, ensuring proposals are commercially competitive and operational viable. This role is perfect for a commercially-minded logistics professional thriving in a dynamic environment—transforming customer requirements into winning logistics solutions.
How You Create Impact
- Lead the end-to-end tender management process, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies balancing customer needs with operational feasibility and profitability.
- Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Customer Solutions, and international stakeholders to tailor logistics solutions.
- Analyze customer demands, market trends, and cost structures for compelling commercial proposals.
- Drive continuous improvement in tenders, pricing, and bid management practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and customer value propositions.
- Manage tender pipelines, priorities, and deadlines for seamless delivery of multiple projects.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor during the bid process.

What We’d Like You to Bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Road Logistics, including a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in tender management, pricing, business development, or commercial logistics roles.
- Strong grasp of Road Logistics operations, European transport networks, and supply chain solutions.
- Track record in developing winning proposals and managing complex client opportunities.
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data, model pricing, and provide commercially sound insights.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills to handle multiple deadlines.
- Advanced stakeholder management abilities to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and polished presentation skills, with proposal creation experience.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on customer needs and proactive business growth.
