About Sapphire Curtains & Graphics
Sapphire Curtains & Graphics is the specialist division of Don-Bur, providing replacement HGV curtains, vehicle graphics, fleet branding and internal load restraint systems. Established in 1988, Sapphire supports operators throughout the UK with everything from individual vehicle replacements to nationwide fleet branding programmes, combining in-house design, manufacturing, installation and project management to deliver high-quality, professionally managed solutions.
The Position
Due to expansion, we are seeking a confident and commercially focused Account Manager to join our fleet sales team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building client relationships, driving sales, and ensuring smooth project delivery.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their HGV curtain and branding requirements are delivered professionally and efficiently. You will act as the primary link between customers and our internal teams, building strong relationships, growing existing accounts and identifying new sales opportunities.

You will oversee projects from initial enquiry through to completion, keeping customers informed of progress and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, building long-term relationships and trust.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into commercially viable branding solutions.
- Grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling and identifying new opportunities.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Monitor account performance, customer feedback and project milestones.
- Attend customer meetings and site visits.
- Build relationships with new and existing customers across a variety of sectors.
- Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, social media and networking.
- Convert sales opportunities using all available sales tools.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Identify customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.
- Meet and exceed sales targets using a consultative, customer-first approach.
- Achieve planned sales targets and support agreed sales strategies.

What You Will Bring
- Experience working within the HGV curtain sider, livery or vehicle branding industry.
- Strong sales skills with a proven ability to develop accounts and win new business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and add value.
- The ability to oversee multiple projects without becoming involved in every operational detail.
- Experience using CRM systems and basic project management tools.
- A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
