National Sales Executive

This role will support the National Sales Team in the continued growth of our National Sales, with a key focus on Boddingtons Cask & JW Lees brands. This is a hands-on role which directly impacts the expansion of distribution, the strengthening of customer relationships, and the delivery of outstanding brand execution. You will work closely with the wider sales team, supporting national account strategies by building strong in-trade relationships and increasing rate of sale.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, brewing, drinks or FMCG.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive “get up and go” attitude.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to manage time effectively in a field-based role.
  • Passion for beer, brewing, and delivering quality products.
  • Commercial mindset with enthusiasm for selling and growing brands.
  • Positive, energetic, and resilient approach.
  • Understanding of cask ale and beer quality standards.
  • Experience working with wholesalers, pub companies, or on-trade customers.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Increase distribution of Boddingtons Cask and JW Lees beer brands across Pub Company and Wholesale channels.
  • Identify and secure new stockists within agreed target accounts and territories.
  • Support existing customers to maximise sales performance and improve brand presence.
  • Work collaboratively with wholesale representatives to unlock new opportunities and drive volume growth.
  • Deliver best-in-class execution standards across all brands in outlet.
  • Ensure visibility through point of sale activation, merchandising, and quality presentation.
  • Promote product quality standards, particularly within cask ale, ensuring customers serve our beers to the highest standards.
  • Build strong day-to-day relationships with Pub Company Area Managers, Wholesale Area Managers, publicans, and key in-trade decision makers.
  • Act as a trusted brand representative in the market, providing excellent customer service and ongoing support.
