National Sales Manager

National Sales Manager

Location: Bristol to East Anglia

Salary: Up to £60,000 + 25% Bonus + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales leader to join a market-leading manufacturer in the home improvement and water treatment sector. This newly created role offers genuine autonomy to shape and develop a growing direct sales function, managing an initial team of three field-based Sales Consultants, expanding to six over time.

You will:

  • Lead from the front, coaching and mentoring your team in the field
  • Implement best-practice sales processes, KPIs, performance metrics, and development plans
  • Work closely with senior leadership to:
    • Define sales strategy
    • Improve customer journeys
    • Build a high-performance culture focused on growth and customer satisfaction

We're seeking a hands-on sales manager with experience in:

  • Leading and developing sales teams
  • Improving performance and driving results
  • Direct-to-consumer, home improvement, or consultative sales environments (highly desirable)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience managing and coaching field-based or internal sales teams
  • Strong background in direct-to-consumer or in-home sales
  • Success in:
    • Improving sales processes, conversion rates and team performance
    • Implementing KPIs, performance metrics and coaching frameworks
    • Analysing sales data and translating insights into practical actions
  • Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills
  • Hands-on coaching style, comfortable spending significant time in the field alongside your team
  • Experience in:
    • Recruiting
    • Developing
    • Scaling successful sales teams
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in the following advantageous sectors:
