BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.

Job Title: National Security Cyber Accelerator
Location: Gloucester and Manchester

These roles require 5 days/ week on site. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Role description

Join the National Security Cyber Accelerator programme at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence and launch your career in Cyber!

Do you see yourself developing systems critical to National Security or finding vulnerabilities in cutting-edge technologies? Do you want your passion for technology and learning to have real impact? Whether you have worked in technology before or not, if you can code in at least one language and love solving problems, then we want to hear from you!

Step into our world with the National Security Cyber Accelerator where we will provide you with dedicated training and real-world experience to kick-start a fulfilling career working on some of the nation’s toughest challenges.

What you’ll gain:

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone who loves to face the unknown, with the right attitude and aptitude for solving complex problems.
  • Someone with proficiency in any of the following languages: Python, C/C++, Java, C#, Rust, or Go.
  • Special consideration will be given to individuals who demonstrate an interest and aptitude for vulnerability research or reverse engineering (e.g. avid CTF players).

Operational Cyber Group addresses the most critical cyber needs of governments and businesses across the globe, with a meaningful and tangible impact on UK National Security.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
