About Us
We’ve been roasting specialty coffee for over 30 years. From humble beginnings as a little coffee cart in Auckland, NZ, Allpress has evolved into a sophisticated brand that stands for flavor and service.
Right from the start, three core principles have formed the backbone of our business – People, Flavor, and Innovation.
We are united in our genuine care for each other, our customers, and our belief in what we do. We need great people who will bring their imagination, skills, and most importantly, their passion to our business.
About the Role
As our National Technical Manager, you'll lead and develop a talented team of Technicians. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Technical team, ensuring we deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining safe, efficient, and consistent operations across the UK.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management, operational planning, and customer engagement. As a team leader, you will be responsible for setting & tracking team targets and delivering results in line with business goals, while adapting priorities and setting clear expectations when needed.
You'll work closely with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement, develop technical capability, and ensure our customers receive the knowledgeable, friendly service that Allpress is known for.
No two days are exactly the same, but you'll spend your time supporting and leading our Technical team to deliver exceptional service across the UK. You will oversee scheduling, resource planning, and service delivery to ensure customer needs are met efficiently. You'll work closely with technicians, customers, external machinery suppliers, and internal teams to ensure our service standards remain consistently high.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
