Our client, a household name in financial services, is seeking a German-speaking paralegal to join its transactional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on exposure to high-profile transactions while developing a specialism in finance law within a prestigious institutional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting fee earners on live finance transactions, including due diligence, document management, and closing processes
  • Assisting with the drafting of transactional documents, correspondence, and internal memos
  • Liaising with German-speaking clients and counterparties
  • Reviewing and translating German-language documents where required
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting deal administration
  • Coordinating with cross-border teams on multi-jurisdictional matters

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent German speaker (written and spoken); strong English proficiency essential
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification
  • No prior experience required - some exposure to a legal, financial, or corporate environment is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Eagerness to develop specialist knowledge in finance law
  • Excellent written communication skills in both German and English
