About the Role

Insurance plays a pivotal role in supporting the Natural Resources sector – one of the most globally significant industries powering economies, communities, and critical infrastructure. This Grad Program offers recent graduates the chance to dive into energy security, infrastructure resilience, climate adaptation, and the transition to cleaner energy.

The Program & Your Experience

This 12-month graduate development program gives recent graduates hands-on exposure to key areas such as:

What You’ll Be Doing

Your days will involve:

  • Assisting brokers in renewals and placements for Natural Resources clients (e.g., energy companies, utilities, oil & gas operators).
  • Analysing quotes, coverage options, and risk recommendations for our clients.
  • Developing deep sector knowledge in:
    • Oil & gas infrastructure
    • Utilities & energy networks
    • Renewable energy projects
    • Climate risk mitigation
  • Participating in structured training alongside real-world client interactions.
  • Collaborating with broking, placement, and support teams to deliver end-to-end client solutions.
  • Managing policy and client data systems with accuracy.
  • Contributing to growth areas such as ESG integration and transition risk.

What You’ll Bring to Us

We don’t require prior insurance experience—we invest in potential.

Ideal candidates are:

  • Recent or upcoming graduates (up to 2 classes/terms into post-secondary programs) from any degree discipline.
  • Curious, proactive learners with a passion for business dynamics, problem-solving, and risk management.

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2+, demonstrating strong academic foundations.
  • Inquisitive mindset and excitement to explore commercial environments.
  • Adaptability for fast-paced work with evolving client needs.
