We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Project Management & Coordination Leader to join our growing Nature Services team at Associate or Associate Director level.
This is a high-impact leadership role, where you’ll sit at the centre of major UK infrastructure and environmental programmes ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You’ll influence how we scale delivery, embed best practice and build high-performing, inclusive teams across the UK and India.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide senior project management leadership across complex environmental and infrastructure programmes, partnering with Project Directors, Technical Leads and clients to ensure strong governance, effective mobilisation and consistent delivery performance Proactively identify risks, challenges and interdependencies, stepping in early to maintain programme certainty, quality and overall outcomes Lead, develop and coach Deputy Project Managers and Project Coordinators across UK and India teams, creating a high-performing, inclusive environment with clear accountability and seamless collaboration Embed scalable, best-practice delivery frameworks across planning, risk, cost control, reporting and change management, driving consistency and continuous improvement across programmes Strengthen commercial performance through robust project controls, improving forecasting, managing scope and change effectively, and enhancing delivery predictability and margins Contribute to the wider strategic growth of Nature Services, supporting resourcing and capability planning, major bids and mobilisation, and shaping future delivery models including digital tools and offshore integration

Essential Experience
Proven leadership on major projects/programmes within environmental, ecology or infrastructure consultancy Strong experience leading and developing project management or coordination teams Track record of implementing or improving project management systems at scale Experience working across multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams Strong stakeholder management skills with senior-level influence Solid commercial awareness, including financial control and risk management

Experience working with offshore / international delivery teams (e.g. India) Exposure to major UK infrastructure, utilities or transport programmes Professional qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP) or equivalent experience
