VP-level Role: NAV Financing Structurer within Strategic Equity Solutions
This VP-level role as a NAV Financing Structurer within Strategic Equity Solutions is a key position designed to drive the expansion of our NAV financing offerings. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing tailored financing solutions for clients in high-growth alternative investment sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to revenue growth, attract new client segments, and play a strategic role in shaping Citi's presence in a competitive and evolving market.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the origination and structuring of complex NAV and LP financing transactions, including coordinating client outreach, conference participation, and industry forum engagement.
- Negotiate and finalize financing terms and documentation, effectively liaising with both external clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of critical transaction analysis, such as senior management briefings and transaction memorandums, emphasizing key risks for senior stakeholders and supporting Credit Risk memorandums.
- Direct transaction closings, including coordinating KYC processes, operational setup of loan monitoring, and other essential closing activities.
- Contribute significantly to the team's strategic objectives, assisting with broader advisory and fundraising initiatives, supporting product NAC completions, and addressing internal audit requirements.
- Ensure full familiarity and adherence to Citi's Code of Conduct and all relevant internal policies and procedures.
What we need from you
- Extensive experience in origination or structuring roles within a tier-one investment bank or similar financial institution.
- Thorough understanding of asset-backed lending and private equity financing structures.
- Demonstrated advanced quantitative and analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Consistently exhibits superior clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and work effectively with multiple functional groups and cross-functional teams in a cohesive manner.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and a comprehensive understanding of Citi's risk policies and procedures.
