Locations: London (UK)
Duration: 12 months (September 2026 – September 2027)
Roles: 5 paid, full-time internships
Step Inside the NBA
This is not a typical internship. The NBA EME Internship Programme is designed for high-performing early-career talent ready to contribute meaningfully to a global sports and entertainment business. Interns are embedded within teams, take ownership of real workstreams, and support delivery against key business priorities across Europe and the Middle East. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to live projects, and gain exposure to senior stakeholders — all while developing the skills needed to build a long-term career in sports, media, and entertainment.
EME Internship Applications

The EME Internship Programme is scheduled to begin 14 September 2026. Eligible candidates must be available to begin working on this date, and must be available to participate in the In-Person Interview Day.
Location
The roles will be based in the NBA’s London office, and you must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Internship Roles & Responsibilities
Brand Marketing & PR
Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and communications activity across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of tentpole campaigns and in-season marketing initiatives
- Assist in the development of creative assets and brand materials for Global Games and partner deliverables
- Manage press accreditation processes and coordinate with global communications teams
- Track and analyse media coverage and brand performance across key markets
- Support campaign reporting, internal updates, and cross-functional coordination
Global Partnerships
Support business development, partner delivery, and commercial operations across EME.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach and research to support new business development and pipeline growth
- Maintain and update CRM systems (SIG) to ensure accurate tracking of opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of partner materials, reports, and presentations
- Support delivery of partner activations, including Global Games and events
- Coordinate internal trackers and timelines to ensure seamless execution
Basketball Operations
Support the delivery and growth of grassroots and development programmes across EME.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing NBA Basketball School partnerships across the region
- Support planning and execution of camps, tournaments, and Global Games activations
- Coordinate logistics, including travel, scheduling, and programme delivery
- Maintain programme trackers, reporting, and performance data
- Provide on-the-ground support at key events and initiatives

Human Resources
Provide operational and project support across the full employee lifecycle within a multi-country environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Workday data accuracy and support reporting and analytics
- Assist with recruitment processes, onboarding, and offboarding coordination
- Support benefits administration and employee queries across regions
- Contribute to learning & development initiatives and engagement programmes
- Provide operational support on regional HR projects and initiatives
Business Operations
Support the execution of regional planning, operational infrastructure, and cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update OKM tracking tools, dashboards, and operational materials
- Support development of knowledge repositories and process documentation
- Assist in planning and coordination of All-Hands, offsites, and regional cadences
- Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Provide support on cross-functional and ad hoc strategic projects
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are:
- High-performing, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
- Strong communicators with the ability to work across teams and functions
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about sport, entertainment, and the NBA
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed within the last 2 years)
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
Eligibility
- Full right to work in the UK
- Available full-time for the duration of the programme
- Able to work in-person at the designated office
