🔎 About the Role

You will be overseeing road shipments across the DHL network, ensuring efficient movement between sites, meeting time-critical deadlines, and resolving any delays or disruptions effectively.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing

  • To act as the first point of contact for all internal and external Customers relevant to network operations.
  • Represent DHL in a professional and efficient manner in order to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Support the field operations by ensuring all checkpoints have been applied for full network and customer visibility.
  • Gain the trust and support of wider linehaul teams, internal and external customers.
  • Great at building business networks and relationships.
  • To monitor all domestic/international trade lanes so as to advise the network of any potential impacts to service.
  • Provide administrative and operational tasks, necessary to effectively and accurately capture and communicate movement details and updates to the network as per GSOP Compliances.
  • Respond to all queries in accordance with company standards. (GSOP)
  • To produce daily reports on scheduled performance against actual departures and arrivals.
  • Monitor resources and equipment to ensure adequate cover in order to deliver performance standards required and maximize productivity.
  • Manage day to day workload and seek support when required.
  • Use computer systems with numerous applications to ensure work is completed in accordance with company requirements.
  • Plan and prepare working practices ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Communicate with colleagues ensuring that service delivery levels are consistently high.
  • To help manage the day to day network operation (UK road and air network/ EU Road network).
  • To liaise with the operation team to ensure our standard processes and procedures are observed.
  • To report on any concerns that threaten the integrity of our security.
  • Adhere to legislation including Health and Safety, Working Time Directive regulations etc.
  • Adhere to all company procedures.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required ie Yard duties/Winter Ops.
  • Able to build relationships across the business.
  • Provide guidance and council on data issues.
  • Coordinate HGV drivers and Yard team to ensure all material transiting through the Yard is presented in a timely manner to sort teams or GB Network of SVC’s.
  • Produce accompanying Customs documentation for all movements bound for the EU.
  • To ensure all applicable TRA and International movements are terminated correctly and TRA ULD’s made available for onward AIR connection.
  • Fix all Preadvice errors for Inbound Road movements and ensure Data is released to CDS.

  • 2-3 years Operational processing experience (ideal).
