Claims Management – NDA File Handler

Department

  • Claims Management

Location

  • Bolton

About the Role

We are seeking ambitious, driven candidates ready to join a dynamic, exciting, and collaborative division in taking the next step in their legal career.

As a leading counter-fraud team—the largest and most established in the UK—we do not operate in a difficult, formal manner. Instead, we foster an environment that values down-to-earth collaboration, legal expertise, and integrity. We are proud of our reputation for fighting dishonest motor claims, developing fraud prevention strategies, and identifying emerging risks.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a high-impact team where you can grow your legal career, contribute to precinct keywork, and help shape the future of counter-fraud.

As an NDA File Handler, you will work within a team of fraud specialists and legal support staff, managing litigated suspected fraud cases on behalf of our insurance clients—all while operating without Delegated Authority. Your success will hinge on rigorous analysis, strategic decision-making, and commercial and legal awareness to secure the best possible results for clients.

Key focus areas:

  • Litigating fraudulent RTAs across various case types:
    • Bogus Passenger
    • Staged/Contrived Claims
    • Fraudulent Exaggeration
    • Induced Accidents
    • Low-Speed Impact
    • Late Notification Claims
    • Credit Hire Fraud
    • MIB Cases
    • Linked & Organised Fraud

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Excellence

  • Conduct detailed evidence reviews throughout the case lifecycle
  • Set and agree case strategies with clients, ensuring compliance with KYO or generic legal frameworks
  • Follow prescribed work processes and identify complex litigation or strategic opportunities
  • Align findings with client trends and risk mitigation strategies

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
