An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Neighbourhood & Enforcement Business Support Team
Are you a highly organised, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment?
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Business Support Officer to join our busy Neighbourhood & Enforcement Business Support Team.
Business Support plays a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of services that make a real difference to our communities. This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of service delivery, supporting teams across Neighbourhood & Enforcement Services and helping ensure that customers receive an efficient and responsive service.
As a Business Support Officer, you will:
- Manage and prioritise requests received through high-volume shared mailboxes
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes
- Respond to customer enquiries
- Maintain accurate records
- Support a range of operational and administrative processes
- Work closely with colleagues to identify and implement improvements that enhance service delivery and customer experience

This role requires someone who:
- Has experience working in a busy administrative or business support environment
- Is confident managing high-volume shared inboxes and multiple workstreams
- Has excellent organisational skills and can prioritise workloads effectively
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Has experience of customer service and providing professional responses to enquiries and complaints
- Works well as part of a team whilst also using their own initiative
