Neighbourhood Health & Wellbeing Programme - Delivery Support Officer

Programme Administrative Support Officer (Fixed Term)

Location: Dorset Organisations: Dorset Healthcare, Dorset County Hospital, University Hospitals Dorset, Dorset Primary Care, Dorset County Council, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole County Council, Dorset ICB Employment Type: Fixed-term (secondment basis for current NHS staff)


About the Organisation

This role is part of a ground-breaking two-year transformation programme to establish Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) across Dorset. The initiative aims to deliver system-wide change and joined-up care for local communities by fostering greater collaboration and impact-driven problem-solving.

The programme requires a flexible, holistic approach where administrative support plays a critical role in ensuring smooth delivery, collaboration, and innovation.


About the Role

This is an internal opportunity for colleagues across key NHS/Dorset County Council organisations. It is not open to external applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programme and INT Support

    • Provide comprehensive administrative and project support to the Delivery team, INTs, and system partners.
    • Overseer and coordinate neighbourhood team operations, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and collaboration among stakeholders.
    • Directly support INTs in logistical and operational tasks as required.
  • Diary and Strategic Coordination

    • Manage calendars, schedule, and organise key activities, meetings, and milestones for the team and INTs.
    • Facilitate smooth workflows between leadership, local teams, and external partners.
  • Project and Innovation Administration

    • Assist in collating best practice, innovations, and lessons learned to improve programmes and care delivery.
  • Operational Support

    • Assure data Integrity and timely documentation for programme monitoring and impact tracking.
