About the role Are you passionate about making a real difference in communities? Join Guildford Borough Council as a Neighbourhood Housing Officer and help shape vibrant, thriving neighbourhoods where people are proud to live.

Working as part of our dedicated neighbourhood estates team, you’ll manage your own patch of around 600 properties across the borough. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service, building strong relationships with residents, and improving local environments.

What you’ll be doing Managing a portfolio of general needs properties Building strong relationships with residents and communities Working closely with Estate Inspectors and partner agencies Supporting neighbourhood improvements and community wellbeing Tackling tenancy and neighbourhood issues with a proactive approach

What we’re looking for We’re seeking a motivated, forward-thinking individual who brings: Experience in social housing or working with communities A strong commitment to excellent customer service A positive, “can-do” attitude Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A sensitive, resident-focused approach Strong organisational skills Understanding of neighbourhood management and landlord responsibilities
