About the Role
Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As part of our neighbourhood team, you’ll play a starring role in making this a reality for thousands of people living in our communities.
The housing team is the heartbeat of our organisation. In this role, you’ll act as a customer champion, advocating for our tenants and working with the wider team and external partners to ensure they receive the support they need.
You’ll ensure our customers are supported and able to sustain their tenancies, build thriving communities, and make our neighbourhoods places where our tenants can thrive.
Prime responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of visible contact for residents within your assigned area
- Welcoming tenants to their new homes, completing check-in processes, and ensuring they are settled
- Developing a deep understanding of tenant and community needs, and acting on feedback
- Resolving queries and concerns while maintaining positive relationships with residents

Responsibilities
- Champion long-term relationships and take ownership of tenant issues—ensuring swift, fair resolutions.
- Understand the specific needs of your posted community and work collaboratively to address them.
- Take a human-centric approach, making reasonable adjustments to ensure equitable access for all tenants.
- Offer support to tenants to enable them to sustain their tenancies, fostering stability and community cohesion.
Qualities and Experience
As a Neighbourhood Manager, you will exhibit:
✔ A customer champion mindset, working tirelessly to secure support for tenants when needed. ✔ Proficiency in navigating challenging customer service scenarios with diplomacy, empathy, and negotiation skills. ✔ Proven expertise in statutory housing services or equivalent sectors. ✔ Strong listening and action-oriented qualities—dedicated to delivering immediate and long-term improvements.
