- Salary Range: £56,436 - £59,574 per annum
- Location: Fulham Palace Road, London W6 8RF
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Type: 3x Permanent
- Vetting: Basic DBS Check required

About the Role

Hammersmith & Fulham Council is seeking an ambitious, values-driven Neighbourhoods and Communities Manager to lead a newly formed team delivering high-quality, resident-focused housing services.
The Opportunity
Created following a major restructure, this role offers a rare opportunity to:
- Modernise neighbourhood management
- Drive innovation
- Make a visible, positive difference to approximately 2,000 residents
Reporting to the Head of Neighbourhoods and Communities, you will: ✔ Strategically and operationally lead Neighbourhood and Community Officers (and a Coordinator) ✔ Oversee frontline tenancy and neighbourhood services to ensure excellent support for residents ✔ Foster a resident-first culture focused on safety, satisfaction, and sustainable communities ✔ Drive service improvement, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance, aiming for a C1 Council rating ✔ Manage complex cases, including antisocial behaviour, estate operations, fire safety, and tenancy issues ✔ Leverage data, insights, and resident feedback to enhance performance ✔ Build partnerships across the Council, residents, community groups, and external agencies

The Ideal Candidates
You are an experienced housing professional and confident leader with: ✅ Expertise in housing, tenancy, and neighbourhood management ✅ Comfort operating at both strategic and operational levels ✅ A strong track record in performance management and service improvement ✅ Experience in local authority or social housing environments (desirable) ✅ Leadership styles characterised by empathy, energy, accountability, and a change-maker mindset

Role-Specific Qualifications
- Degree level (or equivalent experience) required
- Willingness to work towards or hold a Level 4 Housing Qualification
