Salary: £25,989 – £26,403 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location:
- Thorn Turn Depot, Grendall Lane, LU5 6DJ
- Sandy Depot, Beamish Close, SG19 1SD
Contract Type: Permanent (Fixed on a business need basis)

About the Role
If you’re discreet, professional and have a caring attitude, this could be the perfect opportunity to join us as an Ambulance Driver / Care Assistant in our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Team (NEPT).
You’ll play a vital role in supporting:
- The safe transport of SEND children to and from schools and colleges
- Patients travelling between hospitals/clinics and their homes
Your duties will include:
- Providing compassionate, high-quality care for non-emergency passengers
- Staying calm under pressure and adapting to different situations daily
- Willingness to undertake additional training in medical and mental health conditions
- The ability to travel between Thorn Turn Depot (LU5 6DJ) & Sandy Depot (SG19 1SD) when required

Key Requirements
- A full, unrestricted D1/PCV licence is mandatory
- Fluent English speaking, reading and writing skills
- Ability to meet policies and procedures on the job
