About Antitrust and Competition Our Antitrust and Competition team comprises more than 140 competition experts across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific, supported by highly specialized industry expertise from additional economists and academic affiliates. Our team in London works on matters in front of the CMA, European Commission, national competition and courts. We are seeking a full-time Senior Consultant / Director to join Antitrust and Competition based in London. The successful candidate will lead complex analyses, conduct high-powered economic research, and deliver insights on a range of projects related to cartels, mergers, abuse of dominance, and state aid cases. You will Lead teams to deliver large-scale, complex analyses and manage multiple projects concurrently. Conduct sophisticated economic research across various industries, applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data. Draft memos and expert reports and prepare client presentations to aid informed economic decision-making. Influence project strategy, including the preparation and presentation of oral and written submissions. Collaborate with in-house experts and outside academics, managing and developing client relationships. Participate in business development activities, including writing proposals, scoping projects, and contributing to marketing efforts. Recruit and manage junior team members, fostering their professional development. You will need A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude towards developing client relationships and business opportunities. Ideally, a desire to become an economic expert yourself at some point in your future. A Masters or PhD in Economics or a related discipline with an exceptional academic record. At least 10 years of relevant experience in an economic consulting, government, or regulatory setting, specialising in competition policy/antitrust work. Excellent English oral and written communication skills; additional fluency in other European languages is preferred but not required. Strong empirical analysis skills, including econometrics. Proven experience in business development and team management is required.
