The Role

We are looking for experienced QA Automation Testers / SDETs on a perm basis to work with major public sector clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Have a testing background and be confident in applying your skills to drive projects directly with clients, with minimal supervision.
  • Serve as a fundamental member of the team, responsible for:
    • Designing, developing, and delivering test solutions.
    • Supporting and developing other members of the team.
    • Fostering best practice in testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
    • Staying updated with industry standards and advances.
  • Embedding test execution jobs into CI/CD pipelines in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Configuring and managing test environments and test data.
  • Performing exploratory and scripted tests, both manual and automated.
  • Reporting, prioritising, and owning issues.

Location Note: This role will require two days per week working from Coventry (Wednesdays and Thursdays). Thus, it suits someone located in the Midlands.


Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Designing and building maintainable test automation frameworks and suites
  • Embedding test execution jobs into CI/CD pipelines
  • Configuring and managing test environments and test data
  • Performing exploratory and scripted manual and automated tests
  • Reporting, prioritising, and owning issues

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in .NET C# test development
  • Experience with SpecFlow and ideally Serenity BDD
  • Experience with Playwright
  • Experience with RestSharp
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Commercial experience with Cloud services (Azure desirable)
  • Experience working to Agile methodologies
