.NET Developer
.NET Developer – Global Fitness Movement – London
*(Tech stack: **.NET 10.0, ASP.NET Core, C#, **.NET Aspire, **CI/CD, **Azure DevOps, **EF Core 10.0, **Agile, **HTML/CSS Living Standard, **Node.js, **Elasticsearch, *Azure Cosmos DB)
Our client began in 2012 as a California-based startup with a mission to revolutionise fitness discovery. Their app and website initially simplified class booking across California—today, their global community-driven platform connects millions of fitness enthusiasts worldwide. Their core belief: being active transforms lives, enabling self-expression, business growth, and healthier lifestyles.
Expanding rapidly across over 15 countries, this vision requires exceptional talent. While their team already includes industry-leading .NET Developers, they’re seeking one more champion of object-orientated principles and modern Microsoft ecosystems.
About the Role
You’ll engineer the future of fitness tech with our leading-edge .NET stack—hone your skills under expert mentorship on C# 14, **.NET 10.0 (including **.NET Aspire), EF Core 10.0, and Azure solutions. We embrace Agile development, PaaS tools like Azure DevOps, and next-gen data platforms (Elasticsearch & Azure Cosmos DB), alongside lightweight scaling with Node.js.
The team thrives on collaboration, unconventional creativity, and a collective pride in crafting meaningful impact. Behind every line of code? Karaoke jams, charity outreach, and kitchen experiments—because work-life balance isn’t just “talked about”—it’s lived.
Responsibilities
- Develop playful yet scalable full-stack solutions (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core) for a community-driven fitness platform with peaks of 2+ million monthly users.
- Lead front-end innovations using HTML/CSS (Living Standards), leveraging rich dynamic components while adhering to clean Archer architecture principles.
- Design composite cloud microservices with .NET Aspire and orchestrate CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.
- Craft high-availability database schemas (EF Core 10.0) with Azure SQL/Azure Cosmos DB, ensuring seamless user journeys across devices and markets—IOS/Android apps, web portals.
- Pair program, workshop new technologies, and mentor junior talent—bringing fresh vision to problems like mishmash class schedules and ‘find a buddy’ matchmaking algorithms.
- Champion data integrity and analytics automation (using Elasticsearch), reporting quarterly optimisation insights and sprint retrospectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends—this team consumes tech podcasts in their sleep and tastes new frameworks for breakfast.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements
- Professional fluency in .NET 8+/Core, including dependency injection, generics, and modular design patterns.
- Verifiable passion for .NET development—your resume should convict us; we won’t “consider” generic “full-stack engineers” with 2,000 lines of React door-hanging code samples. Do we believe in legacy code demos? No—but a two-respo-strong SQL Cube = yes.
- Practically applicable experience with Azure DevOps/XML, EF Core, and RESTful architects for distributed services.
- A taste for ‘fail fast’ debugging—you’ve got ISVALIDATOR() shiny spots and Profiler redlining experience.
- Preference for UK/EU-based citizens with valid work rights; remote friendly after probating contract.
