.NET Developer – Southampton

About the Role
Join a cutting-edge Fintech start-up as a .NET Developer, collaborating with top talent in private wealth management and financial software development. Our client’s latest product redefines individualised, scalable asset management—pioneering the future of the marketplace.
This exciting role involves building an entirely new application from scratch, with hands-on work in Azure, JavaScript, TypeScript (via frontend frameworks like Angular 21 and Vue.js), and modern cloud-native architectures.
Tech Coverage In Scope: Will be trained in Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, TDD, BDD, Scrum, Kanban, and Azure Cosmos DB, alongside continued development in .NET.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable C# and .NET Core-based fintech platforms.
- Contribute to Angular 21/Vue.js frontends with TypeScriptitis their area of expertise, ensuring seamless integration.
- Optimise budgets, scalability, and performance using modern tools like Azure SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain Azure-discerning services from the ground up (from containers/scalability to data models).
- Take an active role in agile processes (Scrum, Kanban) and training initiatives—utilising technologies like GitHub Copilot, Azure CosmoDB, and advanced Azure techniques.

Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 10.0, and ASP.NET Core (C# 14 will be trained).
- Strong technical foundation in Azure and campaigner-level familiarity with cloud-native approaches (microservices, modular logic).
- Familiarity with full stack development principles (preferred if you’ve already explored Angular 21/Vue.js/TypeScript).
- Commitment to clean code and best practices without time constraints (kreative and independent work is encouraged).
- Experience with TDD, BDD, or Scrum is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK (remote options exist but must comply with local employment laws).
