About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Developer to join our dynamic team in Manchester, UK. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing legacy Microsoft applications, primarily built using ASP.NET Web Forms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and usability standards. Additionally, you will support SQL Server databases, manage deployment pipelines, and contribute to ongoing system improvements. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced with legacy systems and Azure DevOps to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and technical excellence.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a strong background in ASP.NET Web Forms development.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL Server database management and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and project management.
- Solid understanding of legacy systems and the ability to support and enhance existing applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support legacy Microsoft applications built using ASP.NET Web Forms, ensuring stability and performance.
- Develop new features and functionalities to enhance existing systems, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Support and optimize SQL Server databases, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, build automation, and deployment processes.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Identify areas for system improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to.NET development and legacy system support.
