Job Opportunity: .NET Developer (Remote/Hybrid)
Role Overview
Job Title: .NET Developer Location: Burton-in-Kendal, Cumbria, UK (with remote options available) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + bonus (10–20%), private medical cover, pension, benefits, and holiday subsidy (£1,000/year)
About the Role
Our client—a global innovator in software development—is seeking a passionate .NET Developer to contribute to cutting-edge software products that empower users in personal, professional, and everyday settings.
You’ll work on next-generation .NET/C# development projects, collaborating with an innovative team to transform conceptual ideas into robust, scalable solutions. This role requires expertise in:
- .NET 10.0, .NET Core, C# 14
- Azure (including Azure SQL & Cosmos DB)
- Front-end technologies (Angular 21, Vue.js, TypeScript)
- Architecture & development principles (Multithreading, RESTful API, SOLID, DRY, LINQ)

Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, secure, and scalable software solutions using .NET, C# 14, ASP.NET Core, and Azure.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with efficiency in EF Core 10.0/ Azure Cosmos DB.
- Contribute to multithreaded architectures and leverage LINQ for optimized data handling.
- Collaborate with frontend teams (Angular/Vue.js + TypeScript) to build seamless user experiences.
- Follow Agile methodologies to deliver enterprise-grade applications in an iterative, forward-thinking environment.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and best-practice training (clean code, modular design).

Requirements & Skills
Technical Skills (Essential)
- Expertise in .NET Core 10.X, C# 14, and ASP.NET Core
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud + Azure SQL/DB
- Solid understanding of LINQ, multithreading, and SOLID principles
- Experience with full-stack development (frontend integration with Angular/Vue.js via REST APIs)
Soft Skills & Others
- Strong problem-solver with a focus on quality and throughput
- Ability to thrive in Agile/Kanban workflows and fast-paced projects
- UK-based, with right to work eligibility (remote options available)
