About the Role
Our client, a revolutionary marketing software platform, has been transforming inbound customer experiences for businesses worldwide since 2006. Now expanding into the UK, they’re seeking a **passionate .NET Developer (with expertise in ASP.NET Core and C#) to join their team and contribute to products deployed 200+ times daily.
Their ethos? Technology and expertise over processes—small teams of 3–4 cross-functional developers make autonomous decisions to build and iterate rapidly. Mistakes? The learning is built into the culture—freedom, openness, and team ownership are core principles.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and scale scalable cloud-based marketing platforms using .NET 10.0, .NET Core, and C# 14.
- Build and improve backend APIs, microservices, and frontends using Blazor, RESTful architectures, and React/JS.
- Optimise high-performance multi-threaded applications and integrations with Azure AI and ML.NET.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver customer-focused solutions—ownership and speed are key drivers.
- Participate in Code Reviews and Continuous Deployment through Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Work with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and other cloud services to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Foster innovation: Tech decisions begin in small teams, supported by a culture of collective wisdom.

Skills & Experience Required
✔ Proven experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET Core. ✔ Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile/DevOps workflows. ✔ Knowledge of RESTful APIs and modern frontend frameworks (React, Blazor). ✔ Understanding of multithreading for high-performance applications. ✔ Experience with SQL databases and cloud-hosted solutions. ✔ Curiosity about new tech! Will undergo training and upskilling in .NET 10.0, React, Azure AI, and ML.NET.
Your expertise in the given tech stack will be vital—though flexibility to learn new areas is a plus.

Location & Futures
- Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (UK-based) with remote options available.
- Salary range: £40,000–£65,000 + pension, bonus, and benefits (competitive for tech lead/architect level).
