🚀 Software Engineer (.NET) | Greenfield Product Development

📍 Cambridge, UK (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)

💰 £60,000 - £75,000

We're partnering with an innovative technology company that's building the next generation of software platforms used within highly regulated, engineering-led industries.

This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team where you'll be working on greenfield projects, helping to design and build brand-new products and features from the ground up. Rather than maintaining legacy applications, you'll play a key role in shaping the architecture, technology choices and future direction of the platform.

If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, writing high-quality code and having genuine influence over engineering decisions, this is a role where your work will have a direct impact.

💻 What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and develop modern applications using C# and.NET
  • Build new products and greenfield features from concept through to production
  • Develop desktop, backend and systems-level software
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Architects, Product and QA teams
  • Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices
  • Improve testing, CI/CD and software quality across the platform
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
  • Evaluate and adopt modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering where appropriate

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
