About The Role

We are seeking a skilled VB.NET Web Developer to join our dedicated development team at HotLizard Ltd. In this role, you will work closely with the core team to develop new features, improve existing functionalities, and enhance the overall user experience of our platforms. Your primary focus will be on supporting the ongoing development of HotLizard’s products, utilizing the latest technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and innovative. The role offers an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where development is prioritized without unnecessary red tape, allowing you to concentrate solely on creating high-quality software. You will play a vital role in accelerating the development of new products, particularly in our expanding suite of sports-related offerings, contributing to the company's growth and success.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of professional experience working with VB.NET and have a solid understanding of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL. A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are also required. Candidates should demonstrate analytical thinking, creativity, and a positive attitude towards tackling complex development challenges. Knowledge of additional web technologies and frameworks will be advantageous, but a strong foundation in VB.NET is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using VB.NET and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Enhance user experience by implementing intuitive interfaces and optimizing application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support the integration of new features and functionalities into existing platforms.
  • Maintain and update relational databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.
  • Contribute to the acceleration of new product development, especially in sports-related platforms.
