The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded Net Zero Consultant & Energy Auditor to launch and shape our UK carbon reduction service line. This is a brand-new, high-autonomy role where you will lead onsite energy audits, design net-zero strategies for corporate clients, and partner with our business development team to drive growth.
What You Will Be Doing
- Onsite Energy Audits: Conduct technical surveys of client facilities (assessing heating, cooling, lighting, compressed air, and plant rooms).
- ESOS Compliance: Deliver end-to-end ESOS Phase 4 compliance assessments and standardized reporting in line with PAS 51215:2014.
- Data Analysis: Perform consumption profiling, identify significant energy consumption, and calculate intensity metrics.
- Carbon Strategies: Quantify and prioritize carbon-reduction opportunities, including payback and life-cycle cost analysis.
- Commercial Growth: Partner with UK Business Development to attend pitches, scope projects, and identify cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
- ESOS Lead Assessor: Current membership on an approved register (CIBSE, Energy Institute, EMA, Elmhurst, etc.) OR eligible to register within 3 months of appointment.
- Auditing Background: 2+ years of professional energy auditing experience relevant to PAS 51215:2014 (4+ years preferred).
- Scale: Proven experience leading audits for large organizations (250+ employees).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of ESOS Regulations 2014, including recent Phase 4 updates.
