Netball Coach (Part-Time)
Location: Haberdashers’ Girls’ School, Elstree Hours: Part-time, flexible hours based on fixture schedule (Monday–Thursday 3.00–5.30pm, Wednesday 2.00–5.30pm, Friday: 3:00pm-4:00pm plus fixtures on Saturdays) Start Date: September 2026 Salary: A competitive salary, based on experience
Haberdashers’ Girls’ School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Netball Coach to support and develop our successful Netball programme. Working with pupils aged 11–18, you’ll play a key role in nurturing talent, promoting participation, and delivering high-quality coaching across a wide range of abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach a range of netball squads across different age groups and abilities (11–18), supporting the Head of Netball.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of fixtures, including uploading match details to SOCs and liaising with the Sports Administrator.
- Drive the school minibus and accompany teams to away fixtures and competitions.
- Support games sessions and staff development, ensuring a consistent approach to player development across the school.
- Contribute to pre-season training camps and attend major netball tours, as required.
- Build strong relationships with local clubs and feeder schools to support talent pathways.
- Be available for national cup competitions, including occasional Saturdays.
- Lead by example and support the ongoing development of other coaching staff.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Level 1 Netball Coaching Certificate
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience coaching across a variety of age groups and abilities
- Skilled at creating fun, inclusive, and engaging sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
