What’s this role about?

As an Oracle NetSuite SME, you will be the functional and technical owner responsible for the administration, configuration, optimisation, and governance of our NetSuite ERP platform. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, IT stakeholders, and more to ensure the system is aligned to end-to-end business processes and control requirements, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement, address technical debt, and enable scalable system design.

This role combines hands-on deep NetSuite configuration expertise, ERP domain knowledge, and stakeholder management capability to deliver measurable business value and system ROI.

You will report into the CFO, with a dotted line into the interim CIO for technology governance and roadmap alignment.

This role is well suited to an individual looking to step up from a Lead/Senior NetSuite Administrator or Consultant position into full platform ownership, with accountability for both technical direction and business alignment.

What will I get up to day to day?

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the system owner and primary escalation point for all NetSuite-related queries, issues, and enhancement requests.
  • Administering and configuring core NetSuite add-ons/modules (e.g., Financials, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory Management) including workflows, roles/permissions, and system controls.
  • Providing L2/L3 support, troubleshooting defects, and resolving user issues in a timely manner.
  • Owning the internal ticketing backlog, triaging and prioritising requests based on business impact, escalating complex matters as required to ACS (Oracle paid support).
  • Partnering with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite configurations and enhancements.
  • Managing and monitoring integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware, iPaaS) between NetSuite and adjacent systems.
  • Delivering end-user training and maintaining system/process documentation (SOPs, configuration logs).
  • Proactively monitoring system performance, governance limits, and data integrity, coordinating with NetSuite Support or third-party vendors when needed.
  • Leading release management activities including regression testing, UAT coordination, and feature enablement.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities (workflows, scripts, saved searches) to enhance efficiency.
  • Identifying, prioritising, and remediating technical debt within the NetSuite environment (e.g., legacy customisations, inefficient workflows, redundant scripts).
  • Defining and enforcing NetSuite architectural standards and best practices, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability across the platform.
  • Advising the business on best-practice process design based on system capabilities and architectural considerations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
