NetSuite Technical Consultant
London | Permanent | Hybrid | £70,000 - £90,000
Our client is an established business based in London seeking an experienced NetSuite Technical Consultant to take ownership of their NetSuite development capability. This is a hands-on technical role sitting within a collaborative internal team, working closely with functional and business stakeholders to design, build and maintain solutions that drive operational efficiency and support business growth.
The Role
You will be the go-to technical resource for all things NetSuite, responsible for developing and maintaining customisations, scripting solutions and integrations across the platform. Working directly with business stakeholders, you will translate requirements into robust technical solutions, owning delivery from design through to testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain customisations using SuiteScript 2.x (Client Scripts, User Event Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, RESTlets, Suitelets)
- Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party platforms using REST and SOAP APIs
- Configure and develop SuiteFlow workflows and SuiteBuilder customisations to support business process automation
- Develop and maintain saved searches, reports and dashboards to support operational and financial reporting
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across scripts, workflows and integrations
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure development standards are consistently applied
- Support testing and deployment of new functionality, including sandbox environment management
- Advise on NetSuite best practices, platform capabilities and release features

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience, with strong SuiteScript 2.x capability as the foundation
- Proven experience designing and building integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
- Solid understanding of core NetSuite business processes across finance, operations or supply chain
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions independently
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, comfortable working across complex, customised NetSuite environments
- NetSuite certification (SuiteFoundation, Administrator or Developer) desirable
- Celigo or other middleware experience advantageous
- Clear communicator, able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Requirements
- Must be based in the United Kingdom
- Must hold full, unrestricted right to work in the UK with no restrictions or time limitations

- £70,000 - £85,000 base salary dependent on experience
