Role Overview The Network Architect is responsible for designing and governing enterprise network architecture across on-prem data centers and public cloud (AWS/Azure), ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity. The role focuses heavily on hybrid connectivity (DC ↔ Cloud) and enterprise network modernization. [Need exper...sh.veettil | Viva Engage] ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Network Architecture & Design Define and design: Enterprise LAN/WAN, Data Center, and Cloud network architecture Create: HLD / LLD, design patterns, network blueprints Translate business requirements into: Scalable, resilient, cost-optimized network solutions
Hybrid Connectivity (On-Prem ↔ Cloud) Design and manage: Connectivity between Data Centers and AWS/Azure Implement: AWS Direct Connect / VPN connectivity Architect: Multi-region, multi-VPC / hub-spoke designs Ensure: High availability and DR connectivity

Enterprise Networking (On-Prem) Strong hands-on expertise in: Cisco Routing & Switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP) VLANs, trunking, QoS, multicast Data center networking: Cisco ACI (APIC, Nexus 9K, VXLAN/EVPN, spine-leaf) SD-WAN: Cisco Viptela / Meraki solutions
Cloud Networking (AWS / Azure) Design and implement: VPC / VNet, subnets, route tables Use key cloud networking services: Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, Load Balancers Implement: Secure access via:
Private endpoints, firewalls
Optimize: Traffic flow, cost, and performance
Network Security & Segmentation Implement: Zero Trust architecture Network segmentation and micro-segmentation Manage: Firewall policies, ACLs, intrusion prevention Ensure: Secure hybrid connectivity
Automation & DevOps Integration Automate network provisioning using: Python, Ansible, Terraform Integrate: CI/CD pipelines for network configurations Drive: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network
Monitoring & Observability Implement monitoring solutions: Dynatrace, Grafana, SolarWinds Cisco DNA Center, ThousandEyes Use: Network flow logs, performance analytics Ensure: Proactive incident identification
