We're looking for a Network Architect to join our growing Networking team at Wanstor.

This is a hands-on architecture role, combining customer solution design, technical leadership and implementation across a diverse range of customer environments. You'll play a key role in shaping secure, scalable and resilient network solutions, working closely with customers from initial design through to delivery.

As a senior member of the team, you'll act as a technical authority for networking technologies, supporting complex projects, contributing to presales activities and providing guidance to engineers across the business.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of networking and security technologies, with a particular focus on modern network architectures, SD-WAN and the Fortinet ecosystem. Experience with FortiGate is highly desirable, whilst exposure to technologies such as ZTNA, CASB and threat protection would be advantageous, though not essential.

If you enjoy solving complex networking challenges, influencing technical direction and remaining close to the technology, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact within an award-winning MSP supporting a wide range of customers across the UK.

What You'll Do

Design secure, scalable and resilient network solutions across customer and internal environments. Lead the technical design and implementation of complex networking projects. Produce high and low-level designs, technical documentation and implementation plans. Act as a senior technical lead throughout project delivery, ensuring solutions are delivered to a high standard. Design, implement and optimise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN and wireless networking solutions. Work with technologies including Fortinet and other leading networking vendors. Contribute to network security, resilience and performance improvements across customer and hosted environments. Mentor engineers within the networking team and promote technical best practice. Research emerging technologies and help shape the future direction of the networking practice.

What You'll Need

Strong networking experience across LAN, WAN, wireless and network security technologies. Experience with Fortinet technologies, particularly FortiGate Experience designing and delivering network solutions within customer environments. A hands-on approach, with the ability to move between design, implementation and technical problem solving. Experience leading or owning complex networking projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues. An interest in modern networking technologies, including SD-WAN and network security. A passion for technology, continuous improvement and sharing knowledge with others.
