Network Compliance Senior Manager

Network Compliance Senior Manager

Location: London (or Nottingham) | Hybrid Working | Capital One UK

About the Role

The Network Compliance Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in the second line of defence for Capital One’s network and merchant businesses, shaping the framework for our network compliance program.

As a subject matter expert, you’ll provide strategic guidance to challenge and assess compliance risks globally while ensuring our network compliance program aligns with Capital One’s enterprise risk management framework.

This critical leadership role connects high-impact business processes, risk oversight, and executive-level strategy. As a Senior Manager in Network Compliance, you’ll deliver solutions that identify and mitigate potential enterprise risks, collaborate with senior teams, and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert compliance risk advice through formal and informal engagements, addressing risks across network and merchant businesses.
  • Develop in-depth expertise in network and merchant business processes, aligning regulatory requirements with Capital One’s global legal inventory.
  • Proactively identify compliance trends in business data and emerging risks, staying ahead of regulatory challenges in payments compliance.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of payments industry regulations, laws, and rules applicable to our operations.
  • Collaborate with first and second line functions to evaluate risk management frameworks, educate senior leaders, and advocate for nuanced compliance strategies.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance for business expansions and new products, evaluating external partnerships and acceptance opportunities while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Strengthen partnerships with Business Risk, Legal, and Audit teams to integrate and sustain network compliance initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
