Job Title: Network Design Authority (Active SC Clearance Required)
Day Rate:
£250/day (OUTSIDE IR35)
Location:
Fully Remote
Contract Length:
6 months (extendable)
Role & Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand network integration requirements and contribute to the development of appropriate technical solutions.
- Lead and participate in technical workshops, discussions, and customer meetings to capture requirements and provide expert implementation guidance.
- Support customers through the completion, review, and validation of service order and technical documentation.
- Create, update, and maintain Site Specific Design (SSD) documents and wider network design documentation.
- Support the implementation and integration of WAN and SD-WAN solutions, collaborating closely with both customer and internal technical teams.

Required Experience
- Demonstrable experience working with SD-WAN technologies is essential, with Fortinet SD-WAN experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of WAN networking principles, including IP addressing, routing protocols, and core network technologies.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage effectively with customers at both technical and non-technical levels.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously while managing multiple priorities and deliverables in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong technical documentation and design skills, with experience producing clear, accurate, and structured network design documentation.
