Imperial Brands have a fantastic opportunity to join us as our new Network Design Lead. You will join our Strategic Initiatives team and play a pivotal role in transforming and optimising a truly global supply chain.
This is a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions across an innovative, inclusive, Global FMCG business, supported by 25,000 employees.
As our Network Design Lead, you'll:
- Combine advanced modelling expertise with strategic thinking to design future-ready supply chain networks, uncover valuable insights, and drive meaningful business outcomes on a regional and global scale.
- Lead high-impact projects that shape how products move across global markets, partnering with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, optimise operations and improve supply chain resilience.
- Be part of a strategic team that acts as an internal consultancy, driving transformational change across an end-to-end global supply chain. You'll have the opportunity to influence senior decision-makers, work on complex international challenges and help shape the future direction of the business.

Please note this role is based in our Bristol HQ, where we work on a 50% hybrid basis.
Principle Accountabilities
- Lead and deliver supply chain network design and optimisation initiatives across Procurement, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
- Design, development and optimisation of supply chain network through modelling using Llamasoft/Coupa Supply Chain Guru software or similar.
- Reporting and delivering the result presentations to the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team and/or Cluster/Regional Leadership Teams.
- Standardising data management and making the model-building process repeatable to significantly reduce the lead times of projects.
- Collaborate with leaders across functions in visioning the future scenarios that help to answer strategic supply chain and go-to-market model questions in the mid- to long-term.
- Develop supply chain optimisation service offerings in line with the business needs and engage with senior stakeholders, offering a portfolio of optimisation services.

Skills and Experience Required
- Significant experience using supply chain network modelling and optimisation tools such as Supply Chain Guru, Llamasoft, Blue Yonder or equivalent.
- Experience of delivering large-scale network optimisation projects across regional or global operations.
- Strong analytical and data management capabilities, including experience with Python, SQL or similar tools.
- The ability to analyse complex datasets, generate insights and communicate recommendations with clarity and impact.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior leaders.
